Rémy Martin

Since 1724, the House of Rémy Martin has produced premium spirits that consistently appeal to the world’s most discerning connoisseurs.
A profound love of the land, a continuity of family ownership and a passionate commitment to excellence has sustained Rémy Martin for three centuries.
As a result of its masterful production and generations of tradition in Cognac, the House of Rémy Martin today produces Cognacs Fine Champagne, including Rémy Martin XO, Rémy Martin 1738 Accord Royal, and Rémy Martin V.S.O.P.
In 1724, in the Cognac wine region of France, the young Rémy Martin first sold his cognac under his own name. His cognac was highly appreciated among the nobility, and just 14 years later, King Louis XV granted him permission to plant vineyards. In the following century, Rémy Martin cognac gained popularity and was exported to the United States, Asia, and the Pacific Islands
Rémy Martin is made from grapes grown in the finest vineyards of the Cognac region. The Grande Champagne and Petite Champagne subregions feature limestone-rich soils, which nourish the vines while the surface stones reflect the sun, ensuring perfect ripening.
The main grape varieties used in Rémy Martin cognac production are Ugni Blanc, Colombard, and Folle Blanche. To receive the Appellation d’Origine Contrôlée (AOC) designation, granted by French law, the cognac must be double-distilled in copper stills and aged for at least two years in oak barrels.
