The name “Strega” originates from the Italian word for witch, inspired by the legend that Benevento was a gathering place for witches worldwide.
Situated in the southern region of Italy, Strega Alberti Benevento SpA has been specializing in the production of liquor and confectionery.
The Alberti family continues to own and operate Strega, ensuring its legacy. In addition to Liquore Strega, the company crafts various other traditional Italian liqueurs.

Liquore Strega

Liquore Strega literally means “Witch liqueur” and is one of Italy’s most renowned liqueurs. Its recipe, a closely protected secret, has been handed down through six generations. Crafted through the distillation and harmonious blending of various botanicals, such as cinnamon, juniper, star anise, and cardamom, this liqueur derives its distinct golden hue from the inclusion of precious saffron. To achieve its full aromatic potential, Strega undergoes an extensive maturation process within oak vats. Best enjoyed iced, it can be an ideal ingredient for many cocktails.

Strega Cream

A soft cream liqueur that comes from the perfect combination of fresh milk and Strega Liqueur.

Limoncello Strega

A perfect balance of flavour and aroma. The skilled infusion method of lemon peels selected by Strega master distillers culminates in a limoncello characterized by an intense aroma coupled with a rich, velvety and juicy flavour. Suitable for all occasions, Limoncello Strega is also an excellent end of meal.

Amaro Strega

Distinguishes itself in virtue of its dark amber colour and unmistakable, pleasantly bitter flavour. A velvety and surprising flavour which reveals special notes of bitter orange, cinchona, gentian and rhubarb. Ideal for all occasions, for mixing, perfect served at the end of meals.

Amaretto Strega
